Notification No. 2023/29 for the implementation of state support concerning water use service fee for agricultural irrigation purposes.

The purposes of this Notification are: (I) to support producers engaged in agricultural production in irrigation fields operated by irrigation unions and irrigation cooperatives, (II) to reduce production costs, and (III) to ensure sustainability of agricultural production in line with agricultural policies. This Notification covers the period from 1 January 2023 to 31 December 2023. It lays down provisions on the duties and responsibilities of the competent authorities; the principles of support payments; and the suspension, control and approval processes of support for water usage service fee for agricultural irrigation purposes. Agricultural producers who will benefit from this support are required to be registered in the Farmer Registration System.
