Notification No. 2023/30 on supporting fishers engaged in marine and inland fisheries in the provinces affected by the earthquake.

This Notification sets out the procedures and principles of support payments to support fishing vessel owners in marine and inland waters of the provinces declared as disaster areas due to the earthquakes that occurred on 6 February 2023. The purposes of this Notification are to cover their income losses due to the inability to carry out fishing activities following the earthquakes, and to ensure the sustainability of their fishing activities. Support payments shall be made between the period of 6 February 2023 and 31 December 2023 to fishing vessel owners operating at sea and in inland waters who are registered in the Fisheries Information System (SUBİS) and have a valid fisheries license for fishing vessels.
