Notification No. 2023/39 providing support for organic beekeeping.

This Notification lays down the principles and procedures for providing support to organic beekeepers in order to ensure the development of organic apiculture products, protection of natural resources, and food safety and sustainability. Support payments will be made to those who are engaged in organic apiculture production in accordance with the Regulation on the principles of organic farming and are registered to the Beekeeping Registration System and the Organic Agriculture Information System and who make application in accordance with the procedures and principles specified in this Notification. It also sets out rules concerning the authorized institutions at the national and local levels and their powers, duties and inspection; financing and payment plan required for payments; the amount of support; recovery of unfair payments; and sanctions.
