Presidential Decree No. 7613 on agricultural support in 2023 and support to use certified seeds in 2024.

This Decree lays down provisions regarding the agricultural supports to be implemented in 2023 and the fertilizer and certified seed use supports to be implemented in 2024, in order to (I) make the agriculture sector more competitive to ensure the sustainability of agricultural production and food security, (II) increase productivity and quality, (III) develop the new technology and knowledge, (IV) conserve biodiversity and genetic resources, (V) promote the use of environmentally friendly approaches in agricultural production, and (VI) increase the effectiveness of the implementation of the policies. The overall purpose of this Decree is to ensure sustainable agricultural production and food security.
This Decree provides details on the financial support amounts to be allocated in the fields of organic farming, the use of diesel fuel and fertilizer, good agricultural practices, family farming, hazelnut production, rehabilitation of traditional olive gardens, the use of solid organic-organomineral fertilizer, deficiency payments, the use of nationally certified seeds and saplings, standardized saplings, apiculture, the use of biological and/or biotechnological control agents in plant production, compensation for plant quarantine, production in agricultural basins, production of animal feed, animal husbandry, animal health, aquaculture, agricultural research and development, animal genetic resources, rural development, agricultural extension, and the participation in the farm accounting data network system. The procedures and principles for the implementation of this Decree shall be determined by the notifications to be issued by the Ministry.
