Presidential Decree No. 8858 on supports for plant production and some other agricultural supports to be provided in 2024.

This Decree lays down procedures and principles of support for plant production and some other agricultural supports to be provided in 2024. The purposes of this Decree is to ensure sustainable agricultural production and food security; increase efficiency and quality; adopt environmental approaches in agricultural production; increase the effectiveness of the implementation of relevant policies.
The scope of state support include plant production, soil analysis, organic production, good agricultural practices, family farming, hazelnut production, the use of solid organic-organomineral fertilizer, rehabilitation of traditional olive gardens, tea production, deficiency payments, the use of nationally certified seeds and saplings, apiculture, the use of biological and/or biotechnological control agents in plant production, the use of licensed warehouse, feed crops, and rural development.
