Regulation amending the Regulation on Forestation.

This Regulation sets forth principles on forestation, rehabilitation, erosion prevention, pasture improvement and seed production. It lays down some amendments to the Regulation on forestation, particularly as regards the definitions laid down therein. Private forestation activities, private erosion controlling activities and private rehabilitation activities within the State forests are covered by these provisions. Individuals and companies wishing to be engaged in private forestation, private erosion controlling and private rehabilitation efforts in State forests must apply to the local offices under the Ministry. Any construction on such areas is restricted and subject to prior permission by the Ministry. Further provisions deal with special loans.
