Abstract
This Regulation amends Article 3 as “This Regulation implements the Law No. 5996 on veterinary services, plant health, food and feed and the Decree Law No. 639 on the establishment and functions of the Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock” and accordingly amends Article 21 as “The provisions of this Regulation are governed by the Minister of Food, Agriculture and Livestock”. This Regulation adds several definitions in Article 4. Furthermore, this Regulation amends Paragraph 1 of Article 5 required qualifications to be fumigation operator, Paragraph 1 of Article 6 regarding training personnel about fumigation and Annex-I, Annex-II, Annex-III and Annex-V. This Regulation adds Paragraph 2 in Article 12 as “Fumigation operator forest engineers, forestry industry engineers and fumigation operator assistant forest technicians shall carry out fumigation activities regarding plant products and industrial plant products obtained from forest plants in forest areas or in other areas”.
