Regulation on basic rules regarding the impact of disasters on public life.

This Regulation determines basic rules regarding the impact of disasters on public life. Article 2 lays down criteria on the damage status according to the number of buildings destroyed or severely damaged to the point of being uninhabitable or unusable and the population of this affected area. Additional conditions are set out in Article 5, including but not limited to: at least one-third of agricultural products being damaged, and cattle and sheep and goats being perished. The Ministry of Environment and Urbanization shall determine whether existing or potential disasters have an impact on public life, based on the criteria and principles specified in this Regulation. Re-evaluations will not be carried out in places where damage assessments and report evaluations regarding disasters that occurred or are likely to occur have been completed before the publication of this Regulation.
