Abstract
The aim of this Regulation is to promote the production of electrical energy by using renewable enrgy sources. To this end it sets up a promotion mechanism. The Regulation also provides for duties and powers of public entities and covers the rights and duties of real and legal persons to regulate the organization and functioning of this mechanism. The Regulation further sets forth the principles and procedures of the issuance of Renewable Energy Certificates for the production facilities based on renewable energy sources.
