Abstract
This Regulation aims at protecting human health and the environment. This Regulation sets technical specifications on health and environmental grounds for fuels to be used for vehicles equipped with positive-ignition and compression-ignition engines. This Regulation has been drafted in line with the Directive 98/70/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 13 October 1998 relating to the quality of petrol and diesel fuels.
