Regulation on leasing in aquaculture production.

This Regulation lays down the procedures and principles regarding the water and water areas needed for aquaculture investments in order to ensure sustainable use of water resources and aquaculture activities, and the leasing of aquaculture production rights for commercial, amateur, breeding and recreational purposes. This Regulation shall apply to water and water areas at the sea or in inland waters owned by the General Directorate of State Hydraulic Works or under the jurisdiction and control of the State, or in aquaculture facilities to be built on land by taking water from these places. This Regulation sets out provisions on the establishment of a leasing commission; leasing of production rights through capture in aquaculture facilities; leasing of water and aquaculture production areas for aquaculture purposes; and administrative fines.
