Abstract
The purpose of this Regulation is to regulate the rules on safe management of radioactive wastes which may arise during the use of nuclear energy as well as sources of ionizing radiation in order to protect the public, the environment and the future generations. The regulation applies to activities and facilities related with radioactive waste management. For the activities which are not within the scope of use of nuclear energy and ionising radiation sources but may generate radioactive wastes, the applicable articles of this regulation are valid.
