Regulation on protection and fight against American foulbrood of honey bees.

The aim of this Regulation is to fight against American foulbrood of honey bees. It sets forth the rules and procedures of precautions to be taken against the disease, early detection, control methods and information corcerning the disease. The Regulation emphasises on precautions and fight against the disease under different titles such as notification in case of suspicion, confirmation of disease and measures to be taken at focal points where the disease outbreak, measures to be taken at facilities and eradication of the bees. The Regulation further covers provisions on diagnostic methods and reference laboratories.
