Regulation on registration of plant species.

This Regulation sets forth the procedures and principles governing the registration of agricultural plant varieties as well as the elaboration of records on plant genetic resources. To obtain the registration of plant varieties an application must be submitted to the Seed Registration and Certification Center. The Regulation establishes a validity of ten years for registration of plant varieties. Annexes 1, 2 and 3 list out those fruit, vegetable and vine varieties which may be registered.
