Regulation on sustainable use and protection of aquatic genetic resources.

This Regulation aims at establishing sustainable policies and infrastructure in the area of aquatic genetic resources. The Regulation sets forth the principles and procedures on identification, protection and sustainable use of aquatic genetic resources. The regulation further establishes a secretariat under the General Directorate of Agricultural Research and Policy to operate as the responsible authority in the area of aquatic genetic resources. The Regulation consists four chapters: Purpose Scope and Definitions (I), Duties of the Secretariat, Establishment, Operation Principles and Functions of the National Committee and Recommendation Commissions (II), Implementation and International Cooperation (III), Final Provisions (IV).
