Abstract
This Regulation sets forth the principles and procedures on the veterinary controls of live animals at their entrance to the country. The Regulation covers provisions on identity and physical checks as well as the control of certifications at border inspection posts by veterinaries. The Regulation further covers provisions on transit of live animals from and to a third country and provisions on quarantine and security measures to be taken in case of emergence of diseases.
