Abstract
The principal Regulations make provision with respect to growing and marketing of cotton. They are amended in section 4 providing for reservation of cotton seed, by deleting sub-regulation (2) and substituting: "Cotton seeds for planting shall be sold to farmers by cotton seed dealers". Section 27 concerning export levies on FOB value of cotton is also amended and a new section (27A) is introduced. This section provides for the payment by seed cotton buyers of a levy for research funding. Section 6, here repealed, deals with insecticides.
