Abstract
These Regulations consisting of 22 articles concern the following about Mineral Rights (i) Application and Renewal: Procedures for applying and renewing various mineral rights, including forms and required documentation. Additionally, an Environmental Certificate is required as part of the application for a special mining license or mining license under Division “A” and should be provided under the Environmental Management Act, Cap.191; (ii) Mining Area Specifications: Guidelines on the shapes, sizes, and boundary of mining areas; (iii) Fees and Rents: Details on the fees and rents associated with different types of mineral rights; (iv) Transitional Provisions: Rules for handling pending applications and the cancellation of retention licenses.
