Law No. 2360-VIII amending Law No.481/95-VR of 1995 “On state regulation of processing and trade of ethyl alcohol, cognac and fruit alcohol, alcoholic beverages and tobaccos” and Law No. 2662-IV “On grape and grape wine”.

Article 2 of Law No.481/95-VR of 1995 “On state regulation of processing and trade of ethyl alcohol, cognac and fruit alcohol, alcoholic beverages and tobaccos” shall be amended to add the following wording: “Small wine-producing enterprises perform producing/manufacturing and bottling for consumers of grape wines, fruit and berry wines and/or beverages based on honey and extracted from wine raw materials only of their own production (not purchased), obtained by processing fruits, berries, grapes, honey of their own production. New brands of grape wines, fruit wines and/or honey-based beverages produced/manufactured by small wine-producing enterprises shall be approved by the head of the manufacturing business entity on the basis of the conclusion of the Central branch wine-tasting commission of the wine industry and/or wine-tasting commission of the specialized scientific institution and/or wine-tasting commission of a branch public association, acting in accordance with the procedure approved by the authorized central executive body, which ensures the formation of state agricultural policy and in the sphere of food security of the state”. Part 11 of the Article 5 of Law No. 2662-IV “On grape and grape wine” shall be amended to add the following wording: “New brands of wine products shall be approved by the head of the manufacturing business entity on the basis of the conclusion of the Central branch wine-tasting commission of the wine industry and/or wine-tasting commission of the specialized scientific institution and/or wine-tasting commission of a branch public association, acting in accordance with the procedure approved by the authorized central executive body, which ensures the formation of state agricultural policy. The right to approve new brands still wines and vintage cognacs of Ukraine shall be granted to enterprises and organizations that have their own stable raw material base and production/manufacturing facilities”.
