Law No. 2974-VI amending Law No. 2662-IV “On grape and grape wine”.

Article 4 shall be amended to add the following wording: “In the process of wine production shall be carried out organoleptic, chemical and microbiological quality control of raw materials and ready produce for compliance thereof with technological documentation.” Article 8 shall be amended to add the following wording: “Denomination of controlled origin wine shall be applicable to the best quality wines with consistent raw materials basis and produces for at least 5 years, All the processing and production stages shall be controlled at the enterprise located in strictly define geographic area of grape growing.”
