Abstract
This Circular sets forth procedures for the registration, production, processing, packaging, international and internal trade, transport and storage, labelling, destruction and use of plant protection drugs.
The Circular also provides for: seminars and advertisements of plant protection drugs; plant protection drug tests for registration in Viet Nam; inspection of plant protection drug quality and residues; etc.
The Plant Protection Department, units under the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, and concerned organizations and individuals shall be in charge of implementing this Circular.

This Circular enters into force 45 days from the date of its signing.

This Circular repeals Decision No. 63/2007/QD-BNN of 2 July 2007 amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Regulation on management of plant protection drugs issued together with Decision No. 89/2006/QD-BNN; Decision No. 91/2008/QD-BNN of 9 September 2008 issuing the form of plant protection drug import permits; and Decision No. 79/2003/QD-BNN of 8 August 2003 amending clauses 2 and 3, article 11 of the Regulation on inspection of plant protection drug quality and residues and test of plant protection drugs for registration in Viet Nam issued together with Decision No. 50/2003/QD-BNN.
