Decision No 3919/QD-BNN-TCTS of the Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development on designation and announcement of List of sea ports for seafood - carrying foreign ships to land (Phase I).

This Decision is enacted pursuant to Agreement on Port State Measures to prevent, deter and eliminate illegal, unreported and unregulated fishing of Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations, the Decree No. 15/2017/ND-CP of the Government defining the fuctions, tasks, powers and organizational structure of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development; etc. It designates and announces the list of sea ports for foreign fishing ships, ships transporting, carrying seafood, seafood products originated from fishing to land in order to carry out activities of import, temporary import for re-export, transshipment, transit of seafood, seafood products originated from fishing through the territory of Vietnam.
With regard to shipments of seafood, seafood products already loaded on ships or on the way of transport before the effective date of this Decision, the ships shall be further allowable landing under contracts, agreements already signed but not exceeding 90 days from the date on which this Decision comes into force.
