Abstract
This Decree provides for conditions and procedures for importing fishing vessels and for registering imported fishing vessels.
Imported fishing vessels must satisfy conditions of technical safety for vessels and crewmembers and must conform to technical safety and environmental pollution prevention standards prescribed by Vietnamese law.
The Decree further specifies the competences of state agencies to decide on the import of fishing vessels and to register imported fishing vessels.
