Abstract
This Plan, done under the Water Act 2000, defines the management plan for the Fitzroy basin. The Plan is divided into the following Parts: Preliminary; Plan area and water to which plan applies; Outcomes for sustainable management of water; Performance indicators and objectives; Strategies for achieving outcomes; Monitoring and reporting requirements; Implementing this plan and Minister’s report and amending plan. The Plan is completed by five schedules: Plan area; Environmental flow objectives; Water allocation security objectives; Criteria for amending authorizations; Existing and future water supply schemes and Dictionary.
