Regulation on the management of packaging and packaging waste.

This Regulation, based on the provisions of the Federal Law on waste management, prescribes the rules for packaging management in the production, trade and use of packaging and sets rules of procedure and other conditions of collection, reuse, recovery and disposal of packaging materials and waste deriving from the same. The provisions of this text apply to all packaging produced or placed on the market, imported packaging and all packaging waste generated in industry, crafts, retail, service and other activities, in households, regardless of its origin and use, except for returnable packaging and packaging listed in Annex I (classification of long-life waste materials).
