Abstract
This Regulation prescribe the manner for determining the environmentally-ecologically acceptable flow, including concrete methodology, research contents and procedures, also taking into account the specificities of the local ecosystem and seasonal variations in flow, monitoring and reporting and other related rules governing the ecologically acceptable flow issues on the territory of the federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina. An ecologically acceptable flow denotes the minimum flow that ensures the preservation of natural water-related balances and ecosystems.
The ecological acceptable water flow is determined to maintain or restore the structure and function of aquatic and water-related ecosystems, contributing to the prevention of water degradation and the achievement of environmental protection goals through sustainable use water resources.
