Abstract
This Decree, consisting of 11 Chapters, provides for the adoption of sanitary measures for animal health protection. The animal health protection measures should be coordinated and implemented by Official Organ of Animal Health Protection of the Department of Agriculture and related business. The State Official Veterinary Service is responsible to establish specific regulations of animal health programmes of particular interest for the State, which will be regulated by technical norms issued by the Secretary of Agriculture, Livestock and Agribusiness, or the Director of the Official Veterinary Service, who may request the collaboration of agencies and entities of the State Public and Private Administration, especially the Departments of Health, Finance, Public Security, Environment, Education and Public Works, Irrigation and Urban Development.
