Abstract
This Law on the exploitation and production of oil, natural gas and other liquid hydrocarbons, amends the National Energy Policy and creates the Social Fund. Several amendments deal with administrative and legal procedures, general objectives and establish a special Fund to promote this sector. This Law also regulates hydrocarbons production and exploitation, concession procedures and all activities to be performed in this area. It applies also for oil treatment process and natural gas processing, transport, import and export.
