Hunting and Wildlife Protection Law.

The present Law implements the Federal Act of 20 June 1986 on hunting and protection of wild mammals and birds, the Federal Hunting Ordinance of 29 February 1988 and the Cantonal Hunting Law of 23 March 1972. In particular, the Law lays down provisions relating to hunting and wildlife protection. Article 1 lists the tasks of the Executive Council, such as nominating the Hunting Commissions, issuing regulations for hunting examination, establishing hunting seasons. The text consists of 61 articles divided into 13 Parts as follows: Organization (I); Hunting rights (II); Hunting permits (III); Hunting activities (IV); Protection of wildlife and their habitats (V); Damage caused by wildlife (VI); Hunting examination (VII); Information (VIII); Hunting police (IX); Penalties (X); Compensation for damage (XI); Withdrawal of hunting authorization (XII); Final provisions (XIII).
