Abstract
The purpose of the present Law is to promote a purposeful and economical use of the soil and an orderly settlement of the area of the Canton. Moreover, the Law makes provisions for the maintenance of the soil to be cultivated and an sustainable development of the Canton, the regions and localities. The text consists of 164 articles divided into 7 Parts as follows: General provisions (1); Land use planning (2); Land consolidation (3); Development, contributions and charges concerning development (4); Protection of nature and cultural heritage (5); Public building regulations (6); Transitional and final provisions (7).
Entry into force notes
The present Law enters into force on 1 July 1979.
Notes
The present Law is consolidated as of 1 April 2014.The present Law repeals all conflicting provisions and in particular the Building Law of 10 June 1906.
