Abstract
Article 1 of the present Law establishes that the Federal State and local authorities provide financial support to protect and maintain biotopes. The text – consisting of 19 articles - deals with the following matters: principles, destination of financial contributions, compensation payments, prescription, proceedings, legal protection and penalties.
