Abstract
The present Ordinance is made under the Federal Water Protection Act of 24 January 1991, the Federal Environment Protection Act of 7 October 1983 and the Introductory Law implementing the Federal Water Protection Act (Cantonal Water Protection Law) of 8 June 1977. In particular, the Ordinance regulates tasks, organization and financing of the Claim Service (Oil and Chemical Emergency Unit). The text consists of 20 articles divided into 5 Parts as follows: Purpose and organization (1); Equipment and training (2); Measures in case of damage (3); Payment of costs (4); Final provisions (5).
Entry into force notes
The present Ordinance enters into force on 1 December 1998.
Notes
The present Ordinance is consolidated as of 1 January 2005.The present Ordinance repeals the previous Ordinance of 6 July 1987 on the same subject.
