Abstract
The present Ordinance implements the Federal Inland Navigation Act of 3 October 1975 and the Federal Navigation Ordinance of 8 November 1978. In particular, the purpose of the present Ordinance is to regulate the inland navigation on public waters of the Canton. Article 3 establishes that the Cantonal Navigation Office is responsible for all matters dealing with navigation. The text – consisting of 9 articles – deals with the following aspects: control of navigation, restrictions, building and facilities for shipping, fees, final provisions.
