Abstract
The present Ordinance enforces the Cantonal Building Law of 29 April 2012 and the federal legislation on the subject. The purpose of the present Ordinance is to protect the indigenous flora and fauna and their natural habitats, the traditional landscape and townscape, as well as the natural and cultural monuments. The text consists of 48 articles divided into 10 Parts as follows: General provisions (I); Landscape protection zones (II); Townscape protection zones (III); Nature protection zones (IV); River bank protection (V); Species protection (VI); Property protection (VII); Competence and proceedings (VIII); Public contributions (IX); Final and transitional provisions (X). Two Annexes are enclosed.
