Measures for the Administration of Traceability of Agricultural Product Quality and Safety Information (for Trial Implementation).

These Measures are enacted to improve the intelligent supervision ability of agricultural product quality and safety, implement the main responsibility of agricultural product producers and business operators, and ensure the safety of public consumption.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs shall prepare the construction plan of the national agricultural product quality and safety traceability system, strengthen the promotion and application of the national traceability platform, and strengthen the research on policy support and traceability technology and equipment. The national traceability platform is a national comprehensive information platform for agricultural product quality and safety that is uniformly established by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs to be used for agricultural product quality and safety supervision, law enforcement, inspection agencies and agricultural product producers and business operators at all levels to carry out traceability business. When third-party testing agencies and third-party regulatory service agencies are entrusted to conduct business, they must refer to these Measures for registration management and use the national traceability platform.
