Veterinary Prescription Format and Application Specifications.

These Technical Specifications are developed in accordance with the relevant provisions of the Law on Animal Epidemic Prevention, the Regulations on the Administration of Practicing Veterinarians and Rural Veterinarians, the Measures for the Management of Animal Diagnosis and Treatment Institutions, and the Measures for the Administration of the Prescription and Non-prescription Drugs for Veterinary Use, aiming to standardize the management of veterinary prescriptions.
Veterinary prescriptions, as referred to in the Specifications, are documents issued by practicing veterinarians during animal diagnosis and treatment activities, serving as proof of medication for animals.
Practicing veterinarians shall issue veterinary prescriptions in accordance with the needs of animal diagnosis and treatment activities, following the principles of safety, efficacy, and economy, and within the scope of use approved for veterinary drugs. Veterinary prescriptions may only be issued after the practicing veterinarian's signature is recorded or a special seal or electronic signature is filed with the record-keeping unit. Veterinary prescriptions are valid only after being signed, stamped, or electronically signed by the practicing veterinarian.
