Abstract
These Regulations, issued in pursuance to article 4 (2) (b) and (c) of the Chemical Substances Law no. 119 of 2020, provide for harmonising Cyprus Legislation with the Regulation (EC) No. 219/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council, amending the Directive 2004/10/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on the approximation of legislative, regulatory and administrative provisions regarding the application of the principles of good laboratory practice and the control of their application in the testing of chemical substances. The Regulations concern: test certification; placing on the market of chemical substances and related restrictions and limitations; respect of free movement clause; offences and penalties; waste disposal; standard operating procedures.
