Abstract
The present Ordinance implements the Directive 2011/65/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council on the restriction of the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment. The aim of the Ordinance is the protection of human health and the environment. The Ordinance includes provisions on the environmentally sound recovery and disposal of waste electrical and electronic equipment. The text consists of 16 Articles and among others refer to the issues of requirements for placing on the market, general obligations of the manufacturer, manufacturer's special labeling and information obligations, authorization, obligations of the importer and distributor, appointment of economic actors and EU Declaration of Conformity.
