Abstract
Article 1 of the afore-mentioned Act establishes that in order to ensure the supply of food and agricultural products, as well as timber in a situation of crisis, Ordinances on the following aspects shall be issued: 1) cultivation of plants and keeping of animals; 2) marking and labelling of products; 3) use of agricultural machines and others; 4) quality of products; 5) running of food industries. The text – consisting of 28 articles – deals, inter alia, with the following aspects: definition of terms of products, authorization for accounting, reporting and disclosure requirements, stock and supply, ordinances, enactment of the present Act on behalf of the Federal Institute for Agriculture and Food, information, compensation and competent authorities.
