Abstract
An Ordinance to regulate the maximum amount of residues of pesticides, fertilizers, and other substances in and on foodstuffs and tobacco products. Article 1 lists the maximum amount of residues allowed in foodstuffs. Established values are also to be applied to food to be processed. Food and tobacco products showing above established values can not be marketed. The Ordinance consists of 6 Articles and 7 Annexes, Annex 7 is repealed. Articles refer to Maximum quantities for food (1); Composite and processed foods (2); Foodstuffs with excessive residues (3); Exceptions (3a); Identification (3b); Sampling and Analysis Methods (4); Criminal offences and administrative offences (5); Effective Date, Transitional Provisions (6).
