Abstract
This Directive shall apply to products within the groups specified in the Annex, in so far as products in these groups may contain certain pesticide residues. The list of pesticide residues concerned and their maximum levels shall be established by the Council, acting by a qualified majority on a proposal from the Commission. The products or, as the case may be, the parts of products referred to in article 1 shall not contain, from the time they are put into circulation, pesticide residue levels higher than those specified in the list referred to in article 1. The competent authority or authorities of the Member States shall draw up forward programmes laying down the nature and frequency of the inspections.
