Abstract
The purpose of the present Ordinance is to protect human health against the adverse effects restulting from polluted drinking water destined for human consumption.This ordinance regulates the quality of water for human consumption and applies to natural mineral water, medicinal water, swimming and bathing pool water and water in the meaning referred in Article 2 of the Ordinance. The text consists of 25 Articles divided into 7 Parts as follows: General provisions (1); Quality of potable water (2); Treatment and disinfection (3); Obligations of the entrepreneur and other contractors of a water supply plant (4); Surveillance (5); Special provisions (6); Offences and infringements (7). Five Annexes are enclosed.
