Abstract
The present Act lays down provisions relating to the protection of the people against radiation. Article 1 of the present Act establishes that in order to protect the population the: 1) radioactivity in the environment shall have to be monitored; 2) the exposure of people to radiation and radioactive contamination of the environment shall be kept as low as possible. The text consists of 18 articles divided into 5 Parts as follows: General provisions (1); Control of the radioactivity of the environment (2); Measures (3); Administration, administrative authorities of the federal state, right to enter and sampling (4); Penalties, final provisions (5).
