Abstract
Through this Act, the Minister for Climate and Energy sets rules and adopts provisions to implement international conventions and EU directives and decisions regarding the protection of the environment of territorial waters and the exclusive economic zone. The Act applies to the establishment of Energinet, an independent institution responsible for the enforcement of infrastructure projects related to energy production.
This Act consists of 11 Chapters: Introductory provisions (1); Expansion of electricity transmission networks and gas transmission systems, etc. (2); Powers of the Minister for Climate, Energy and Supply (3); Management and Stakeholder Forum (4); Finance and accounting (5); Review and registration (6); Publicity and digitalisation (7); Supervision and appeals (8); Liability and Penalty (9); Entry into force (10); Amendment rules (11).
