Abstract
This Act aims to promote energy conservation and diffusion of energy efficient products by providing information to end-user of energy-related products, consumption of energy and other essential resources. The supplier must prepare energy label, data sheet and technical documentation in accordance with the Act. The Act applies to energy-producing products manufactured after 20 July 2011.
It consists of 9 Chapters: Scope and definitions (1); Responsibilities and requirements for energy related products (2); Supervision, prohibition (3); Public procurement and incentives (4); Transportation (5); Appeals (6); Penalty (7); Entry into force (8); Changing rules (9).

This Act enters into force on 20 June 2011 and shall be valid from 20 July 2011.
Notes
The Act does not apply to Greenland nor the Faroe Islands.
