Abstract
The Act provides regulations on subsidy for the research and development of innovative efforts to promote food, organic agriculture and sustainable fishery production. This, by ensuring high-quality food, strengthening of competitiveness, endorsement of innovative production of new commodities, preservation of agricultural and fishery resources, assurance of environmental and animal welfare conditions, and improvement of consumer accessibility to product and production information. The Minister for Food, Agriculture and Fisheries shall elect an innovation committee which awards grants to these experimental projects.
The Act consists of 10 Chapters: Purpose (1); Innovation, research and development in primary agriculture (2); Exploratory innovation, research and development in primary fishing sector(3); Innovation, research and development in processing and marketing of agricultural and fishery products (4); Promotion of organic development projects in agriculture and of development projects on sustainable fisheries (5); Common provisions (6); Delegation and appeals (7); Control, supervision and refunds (8); Penalties (9); Entry into force (10).

Entry into force of this Act shall be determined by the Minister for Food, Agriculture and Fisheries.
Notes
This Act is not applicable to Greenland nor Faroe Islands.
