Abstract
The Order applies to the identification marking, registration (with CHR and CKR identification number) and transportation of cattle, swine, goat and sheeps destined to human consumption. It sets regulations with regard to the type of ear tagging (electronic) with specific measure requirements (minimum height of 45 mm and width of 55mm for the mark in cattle s ears). The purpose of this Order is to ensure that regulations thereof are in compliance with EU directives. Registered information shall be notified and submitted to the national Knowledge Centre for Agriculture (VFL).

Entry into force notes
10 October 2014. Requirement criteria of article 9, section 5 (replacement of ear tags used in assembly centers which must always be marked with the CHR number, as evidenced by the lost or damaged ear) shall enter into force on 1 January 2015.
