Abstract
This Regulation lays down detailed provisions to implement Regulation (EC) No. 1760/2000 establishing a system for the identification and registration of bovine animals and regarding the labelling of beef and beef products. These provisions concern in particular the information content of ear tags, passports and holding registers for the identification of bovine animals. Particular provisions set out the minimum uniform rules for the design and layout of ear tags.
