Abstract
The Order establishes rules and procedures for the identification and designation of European critical infrastructure in the energy sector and assesses the need of protection thereof. The IOrder shall ensure the maintenance of energy-supply in case of emergencies caused by natural, man-made and technological threats and shall follow the European Programme for Critical Infrastructure Protection directive (ECIP-directive) in the required sequential four steps for assessement. The Danish Energy Agency shall ensure that compliance is followed.
The Order is composed of 7 Chapters: Scope and definitions (1); Identification and designation of European Critical Infrastructure (2); Security plans of the European Critical Infrastructure (3); Security liaison (4); Operating conditions (5); Monitoring (6); Other provisions (7).
