Abstract
The Order sets rules applicable to the establishment and authorization of existing and new wells for groundwater extraction, mirroring, monitoring and dewatering, drilling with environmental and geotechnical purposes, drilling for vertical ground source heat pump wells, the discharge of water to the underground mining wells and other wells that are not covered by Act on Danish underground. Municipality authorities shall ensure approval of areas where these activities will take place. The drilling locations, engineering and activities shall be classified in Category A and Category B - according to the timing of request for permit of drilling and inspection of the soil quality. Both results shall be submitted to the National Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland Agency (GEUS) for compliace with national and EU standards.
